Personal protective equipment, collectivley known as PPE, protects people from injury and illness caused by exposure to harsh weather conditions, hazardous materials, and electric shock. These products are typically categorized by the area of the body they protect, such as hard hats, goggles, respirators, hearing protection, and protective apparel.
